Start date: ASAP. Length of internship: 6 months

Location: Paris - The position will be based in our office at 12 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

As a Robotics Engineer Intern at Inbolt, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to advancing our robotic capabilities. This role is pivotal in enhancing the compatibility and performance of our robot drivers. You will focus on innovative solutions and technical advancements, contributing directly to our core products.

  • Continue the development of path planning algorithms to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our robotic systems, and translate/ apply them to different robot brands

  • Develop and extend inbolt's universal robot programming language with new key functions

  • Develop a prototype of a tool (backend + frontend) to generate complete robot trajectories program based on path planning algo and inbolts universal language

To achieve this goal, you will :

  • Explore state-of-the-art techniques in robotics and compile a comprehensive literature review to guide project direction.

  • Design and develop cutting-edge algorithms, employing robust programming skills and innovative thinking.

  • Evaluate and benchmark the effectiveness of implemented algorithms, focusing on performance improvements and scalability.

Preferred Experience

Required Skills

  • Python / Java / Networking

  • Robot programming (Karel, TP, Rapid, URScript) is a plus.

  • Capacity to handle a good level of code quality and stability

  • Fluent or at least working-level French and/or English

Recruitment Process

Recruitment Process:

  1. First interview with Marion, our HR Manager (Visio - 15-30min)

  2. Technical interview with Jean, our Head of Engineering (Visio - 30min)

  3. Technical test with 2 members of the Engineering team (On site - 1h)

  4. HR interview with one of our Founder

The whole recruitment process should take no longer than two weeks.
