At Groover, we empower independent artists by helping them get their music heard by the right people. As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Performance Marketing Manager (Ads) to join our marketing team on the Paid Ads side and own our performance marketing strategy across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and beyond. This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead acquisition campaigns, drive measurable growth, and help us bring even more artists into the Groover ecosystem.

Missions

Your mission is to scale Groover’s customer acquisition through paid channels, optimize ROI across markets, and unlock new growth opportunities through performance marketing. You will build and manage full-funnel paid strategies, drive continuous testing, and work cross-functionally to fuel our artist-first growth engine.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the performance marketing strategy across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, YouTube, and emerging platforms

  • Set up, manage, and analyze campaigns with a strong focus on CPA, CAC, ROAS, and LTV

  • Plan and manage monthly budgets aligned with acquisition targets 

  • Create and test compelling ad creatives in collaboration with the content and design teams

  • Develop A/B tests and experiment with different audiences, formats, and messaging

  • Build dashboards, reports, and insights to track performance, highlight learnings, and iterate fast

  • Manage cross-functional projects across departments (Product, Data, Marketing)

  • Lead content ideas for Ads with production support from of the Marketing team 

  • Manage Ads projects and work hand-in-hand with the Ads intern

Profil recherché

  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in performance marketing, paid acquisition, or digital advertising - ideally for a fast-growing company or agency

  • Strong understanding of full-funnel user journeys and online consumer behavior

  • Strategic & analytical mindset - you love digging into data to make decisions

  • Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and growth mindset - you can solve problems and work autonomously

  • Leadership - you are comfortable taking the lead on projects and managing projects cross-functionally

  • Excellent communication skills in English and French

  • Proficiency in Meta Ads (Facebook, Instagram) and Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube)

  • Solid understanding of attribution models, UTMs, and conversion tracking (GA4, GTM, etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of A/B testing, audience segmentation, and funnel optimization

  • Experience managing performance dashboards (Bonus if familiar with Metabase)

  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and performance data to drive insights

  • Experience with CAC/LTV modeling and budget pacing

  • Familiarity with creative tools (Figma, Canva, Adobe Suite) or briefing UGC-style creatives

  • Previous management experience with entry-level positions or interns

  • (Nice to have) Creative sensibility - you know how to brief, test, and iterate on creatives that convert

  • (Nice to have) Experience working in music, creator economy, or with independent artists

  • (Nice to have) Experience working with automations and AI tools
