In the context of our exponential growth, we are strengthening our internal engineering team and opening a Senior Backend Software Engineer position in our Auxiliary Squad.

About the Auxiliary Squad

Auxiliary Squad is responsible for core technical services that ensure secure, high-performance access to the Diabolocom platform. The squad manages critical components such as the API Gateway and Authentication Services, which handle large volumes of traffic and serve as the entry point for all backend systems.

In addition to these foundational services, the squad owns Scenario, a product that empowers users to design complex workflows through a no-code, block-based interface. Scenario enables flexible automation across a wide range of use cases, for example, scenarios for processing incoming calls, handling outgoing emails, applying AI post-processing to calls, and more.

What’s next for the Auxiliary Squad?

In the coming year, we plan to:

Expand Scenario’s capabilities to support new communication channels, including Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and RCS.

Integrate Scenario with various AI-powered tools to enhance automation possibilities.

The team currently consists of:

2 QA engineers

3 backend developers

1 team lead

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years in software development within product-focused companies, with at least 3+ years working extensively in Java.

Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).

Experience with Spring Boot would be a plus.

Experience in designing and implementing effective distributed systems. Ability to make architectural decisions and evaluate their impact on system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Strong autonomy and leadership potential, with a willingness to grow into a lead role.

Comfortable working with and improving an existing codebase.

Strong engineering culture, attention to the details, business-centric mindset.
